The Voice Program In the US
The voice programme is an interactive digital and classroom-based course. The programme is designed to give training to employees to learn to be allies of persons with disabilities to encourage a better inclusive working environment. In the United States, the programme was held in September 2014 with over 225 participants taking part or signing up for the programme.
Dote Sostegno Program In Italy
The programme in Italy helps give individual coaching to employees with disabilities. This is to make them have a sense of belonging and fully inclusive in the staff team. Many Sodexo employees have gained from the programme, undergoing 30 hours of training in a 6 months duration.
Club Handicap ET Competences In France
Through this memorial programme in France, Sodexo lead the campaign for diversity and inclusion along with other 16 top companies. They help other medium and small scale companies which lack the knowledge or have the resources to accommodate disability in their companies.
Translation Of Videos To Sign Language In Brazil
The hearing impaired community in Brazil received attention in Sodexo programmes. In 2012, Sodexo started the translation of its healthcare including quality and training videos into Libras sign language. The initiative helps employees to develop and get more involved in their companies, making them become more valued members of the team.
Humanitarian Programs In China
During the Chinese New Year Period, Sodexo operation and human resources team paid a visit to the homes of all 47 disabled employees of the company. Bringing them good wishes for the holiday, the company interacted with them and shares their experiences with the company.
